During her scientific career, she has published over 100 papers in refereed international journals and has coordinated or co-coordinated 46 externally funded research and development projects.

As the author of over 90 international peer-reviewed papers and other publications, he is a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich, UK, and Vice President of both the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, and the International Society of Tropical Root Crops.

He was Scientific Researcher and then Head of Department, Strains and Breeding at the Mushroom Experimental Station, Horst from 1988-1992, 1992-2001.
